ABDS Academy

ABDS Academy is a two-week workshop for capacity development on data science and neuroimaging data (ABDS Academy). This program will bring together participants from all over Africa to learn about technologies used to collect, process and analyze neuroimaging data and to make analysis and results shareable and reproducible. The program will include teaching participants topics that cover the theory and practice of MRI neuroimaging, including MRI physics and analysis. Most importantly, it will also include hands-on training on working with datasets collected in Africa (in the five regions of Africa) and how to responsibly make them FAIR. This will contribute to the global effort on best practices in brain data governance.
ABDS Academy 2023 will take place from the 27th of November, 2023 to the 8th of December, 2023 in Lagos, Nigeria.
