We are thrilled to announce the call for the 2nd African Brain Data Science (ABDS) Academy. ABDS Academy is The Kavli Foundation-funded two-week intensive training program designed to enhance capacity in brain data science. ABDS Academy offers unique opportunities to researchers in Africa (from Neuroscience, Psychology, Computer Science, Biomedical science, and related backgrounds) to gain an understanding of critical computational approaches to the processing and management of large-scale brain datasets. Participants will be trained by world leading experts in the field on novel techniques for brain data collection, processing, analysis and sharing. The Academy focuses on hands-on training, mentorships and provision of networking and collaboration opportunities for FAIR African brain data. Be part of the next generation of researchers seeking answers to real-world neuroscience questions in Africa with novel methodologies including MRI, fMRI, EEG, fNIRS and MEG.
ABDS Academy 2024 is scheduled to hold from 2nd to 14th, Dec 2024.
