Dr. Damian Okaibedi Eke is a Research Fellow in the EU Human Brain Project at De Montfort University (DMU) in the Centre for Computing and Social Responsibility. He is the secretary of the Data Governance Working Group for the Human Brain Project. Damian has a Philosophy background and gained a Ph.D. in Computer Ethics from DMU on the subject of Research Ethics in Information Communication Technology research. His research interests include Responsible governance of biomedical data, Neurodata governance, Critical research in ICT, Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI), Technology Ethics, Data ethics, Neuroethics, Ethics of AI systems, and ICT4D.
